How to make your bed with a spatula
Step 1: Making your bed begins with clean sheets.
Place the fitted bottom sheet on the mattress first. Be sure to tuck the edges of the sheet around each corner tightly.
Step 2: Now it's time to break out your favorite plastic or wooden spatula (the flat bamboo ones work very well) and get to work.
Lay the top sheet over the fitted sheet, taking care to line up the top edge with the top of the mattress. Also, take a minute to be sure that the sides of the sheet hang evenly over each side of the bed.
Step 3: Tuck the bottom of the sheet under the mattress and use the spatula to tuck the sheet under the bed tightly.
Continue tucking the sheet in at the bottom until you reach the corners.
Step 4: When you get to the corners, create a fold and continue up each side with the spatula, leaving about a foot untucked.
Step 5: Repeat steps 2 to 4 with your favorite blanket or comforter.
Step 6: Once you tuck in the layers tightly, fold the top foot of the blanket and sheet down to create a crisp edge.
Step 7: Place all your pillows on top and get ready for a good night’s sleep.
